It is fine: At 16 months, you should let your daughter eat any type of food categories by now. There is a slight increase risk of getting food allergy with an immediate family history of food allergy but that would not prevent her from eating those foods. In fact the american association of pediatric recommendation in 2008 does not recommend us to hold off any solid food after 6 months of age.
