Had i&d procedure on tues, followed by mild fever & headache evry night for 2 days.is that normal?will antibiotics & ibuprofen clear em out eventually?

Fever post I/D: Usually we tell patients that if after start of antibiotics the fever persists more than 48 hours or if it is >101.5 f (38.5c) then a call back to the doctor is in order. Many reasons for this: not big enough i/d (abscess remains), resistant bug, drug fever, different infection, to name a few. Call your doc!
