I had a red, flaky rash around my mouth, doc gav me fucidin h cream, wk l8r+dryness gone but still red altho has faded, how will redness go? thank u

Rash around mouth: A rash by the sides of the nose that is flaky could likely be seborrheic dermatitis which is very common and can be managed but never cured. Fucidin h has a topical steroid and can be effective, but be careful because steroid use around the mouth can cause or exacerbate perioral dermatitis, which is easily recognized and treated by a dermatologist.
