A member asked:

An inflamed asophogus caused constant vomitingtreatment ideas ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Acid suppression: Usually it's vomiting that leads to inflammation and esophagitis, not vice versa. Acid suppressive therapy and control of nausea will allow the esophagitis to heal. The best class of acid suppressive medications are ppis which include otc prilosec, Prevacid (lansoprazole) and zegerid. Good luck!
