Last few yrs off an on i get severe nausea an vomiting lasts about a week can't do much cause of how bad i feel can't keep food down but then get better er said high wbc at 24 had a ct but found nothing any ideas to what could be wrong?

If your wbc was 24000 the nausea & vomiting was accompanied by some inflammation or release of stress hormones. I assume you had a follow-up wbc to assure that it was normal & you have no hematology issues. The cause of your recurring N&V episodes may be elusive, but stress,anxiety, certain food reactions, recurrent gastritis,gall bladder dysfunction or medication effects come to mind.?GI consult
