Cervical cancer: Cervical cancer is a commonly found cancer caused by the hpv virus. This cancer can now be mostly prevented with the hpv vaccine. Your gynecologist will do pap smears to predict the risk of cervical cancer as you age!

See below: By far the most common cause of cervical cancer is the virus, hpv. Having this may be totally asymptomatic and that is the reason for pap smears and hpv tests if your pap smear is normal and you do not have hpv you should not have cervical cancer.

Symptoms none, bleed: Cancer of cells low part if uterus that is called cervix. Much more common in other parts of the world where pap smear for screening is not routinely done. Hpv is a virus that increases the risk of developing this slow growing tumor. There are vaccines now for hpv.
