Yes: You are right. You have to find a new therapist who will help you while maintaining healthy boundaries for you to be able to recover from the "closeness" you have had w/ur previous therapist. Make sure u find a safe therapist, meaning same gender therapist (unless u r gay). Good 4 u 2 have the instinct 2find the courage 2move on & take care of urself. Not easy but u r on ur way 2recover, bravo!
