Should be checked: There are a lot of things that come to mind, fewer if the symptoms are just one one side of your mouth. However, this could be almost anything from an allergic reaction, to something neurologic (again, if on one side) and is really not possible to diagnose on line. I'd think your doctor would be more than happy to check this out for you, maybe get some labs to help.
