I have a dvt in right thigh area im on ckexane injections i will be on anticiagulants for life. am i safe to walk swim etc or should i rest leg?

Generally: After 48 hours or so on antocoagulation, if ypu are no longer having pain, it is ok to be active and bear weight. But, every case is different, so you should check with your treating physician.

Swim: Best answer is to have the swelling go away, wear stockings if necessary. Elevate foot of bed so swelling is down in am, put on stockings. Walking is ok if mild swelling. Swimming is good if no ulcers or skin lesions.
