Most likely not: Most likely is muscular in origin. Your hamstring attaches to your tailbone, this is wear it sounds like your pain is. A DVT usually comes from a calf vein or a groin vein. It is usually associated with leg swelling, feeling of cramping. Risk of DVT is hormones, smoking, immobility, cancer. If you are concerned about DVT, I recommend being seen as soon as possible.

Leg pain and DVT.: From what you describe, the symptoms go more along with a muscle problem rather than a DVT. The gold standard to make a diagnosis of DVT is a venous duplex ultrasound. A d- dimer blood test is also a good screening test if negative but not if positive. See a vein specialist for an evaluation.
