Best to : Have it looked at and get treated if it is an infection. It is possible you could have a boil, an abscess , a cyst. In meantime , you can take any pain reliever meds for comfort.

Bartholin's Gland: Either that or the cowper's gland has become blocked and turned into a cyst that has become infected. Your fp should be able to treat you with antibiotics as a good first try. If that doesn't take care of it, then you may need to be referred to a gyn for surgical removal.
