A member asked:

Pea size smooth red bump on the outside of my vagina - sore, doesn't pop like a pimple - never happened before - help!

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bartholin's gland: There are two ducts near the outer wall of the vagina, and sometimes they can become inflamed. It is best not to squeeze or "pop" this as it may cause an infection. It is best to follow up with a gynecologist or dermatologist to have the area examined.
