Breast implants: Saline implants can be punctured so the leak and allow the skin and soft tissues to shrink around them prior to removal. If there is adequate skin and soft tissue with excessive ptosis then a lift can be avoided. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon for a consultation.

It depends: If you had a nice breast shape before you had implants - with no droop - then the odds are good that you can avoid a lift, if you have normal skin elasticity. But if you had pre-existing droop, have droop now, or just have decreased skin elasticity, you may well benefit from a breast lift.

Maybe, but up to you: Talk to a board certified plastic surgeon about your concerns. Whether you have a lift or not will be up to you in how you think your breasts should look after surgery. A plastic surgeon can give you ideas as to what it will look like after surgery.

Many options 4 you: Implants come in a variety of shapes, sizes, consistency, texture, and materials. Furthermore you could have the implants removed and undergo fat transfer. There are many options to discuss with your surgeon. By the way, in my experience, your breasts after implant removal will commonly be larger than the original size albeit more ptotic (sagging); a breast lift and/or small reduction may help.

Many Variables: Much will depend on factors such as your physical examination, skin elasticity, duration of time that the breast implants have been in place, and life circumstances ( such as pregnancies and/or weight gain/loss) since the breast augmentation procedure was performed. Best to seek consultation with board-certified plastic surgeons for accurate advise. Best wishes.
