You must decide: I'm a ringside physician myself and would urge you to trust your body's own wisdom in making a decision with your coach about weight class. The best gauge is by the amount of bodyfat on your chest and abdomen. If there is only as much as on the back of your hand, don't try to drop weight; it would endanger you. If you have more, then try to lose this wtihout losing muscle and go down a class.
