Needs evaluation: A unilateral flatfoot often is due to a tear or stretching out of one of the tendons (posterior tibial tendon) that holds up your arch. You may also have ruptured the deep plantar ligaments that support the arch as well. Reconstitution of your arch is unlikely without a surgical correction. Arch supports can help with pain associated with the fallen arch. You need to see doc get xray/mri.
