Depends : This could be several things depending on where on your back you feel the pain and if it is related to movement, affected by urination, or if there is any type of rash. It could be related to muscle spasm, pinched nerves, a rib that is posteriorly displaced, kidney stone, atypical gallbladder and even shingles. See your primary for detailed history and good exam.
