Many possibilities: There are many possible causes, so you should see your Dr to help sort this out. Since breast’s are usually not the exact same size, your bra may be rubbing/irritating one nipple more than the other. Sometimes laundry detergent or soaps/shower gels can also irritate the nipples. If the soreness is only around the time of your menses, then it could be hormonal. Sometimes there can be an infection.
