No: Methotrexate, if felt to be the most efficacious therapy by a competent rheumatologist who will follow you carefully for side-effects and complications should be a reasonable choice. Trust your DR.: Most people don't experience the full side effects of the drug. Once your symptoms improve perhaps your dr can lower the dose. Read our website's tips on ra. Bless u:).
