Hello, im 23 years old, have ra, taking 5 mg prednisone+2 pills plaquinil almost 8 months. can i get tattoo? i took also methotrexate but stop 3 weeks ago,thank you for the answer.

having an autoimmune condition like RA may increase your risk of infection. Some RA medications also can increase that risk after your tattoo session. If you’re thinking of getting a tattoo talk to your rheumatologist before scheduling your tattoo appointment. Corticosteroids, like prednisone, can have a negative impact on wound healing. Use caution.
