I'm 31yo male with bmi 27.1. walking for at least 30 mnts a day, vegetarian having small potions wt little fat n sweet; any suggestions how to loose?

Step it up: Maybe instead of walking you could jog, or bike, or dance every other day. You need to change up your routine since you aren't losing weight. Make sure you aren't drinking extra calories. Drink zero calorie drinks, water preferred.

Ideas: To lose weight insure that calories burned > calories consumed. Drink at least 8 - 8 oz glasses of water per day. Try for 8 hours of sleep/night. Aim for at least 5 servings of vegetables & 4 servings of fruit per day. Use whole grain when possible. Avoid sodas, alcohol & junk carbohydrates. Get in a good mix of aerobic & weight lifting exercises.
