Could be large part: The very obese develop symptoms that are more difficult to evaluate and chase down due to the overlying issue of their weight--if you magically dropped 150# would symptoms be gone? Perhaps. Unfortunately must work w/you as you are, so ask primary dr if should see vascular surgeon, and while there, ask if gastric bypass or other weight loss option(s) right for you to address bmi issue. BMI: Sounds like you have morbid obesity which causes pain in joints back and muscles while walking. Please rule out sleep apnea and other medical causes.
