Probably not : Most babies born at 37 weeks will be just fine. If there are medical problems that necessitate you being induced, of if you go into labor, your baby will most likely bd ok. But because some babies are still not ready, you should not be induced before 39 weeks unless there is a real medical reason to do so.

Not: 37 weeks gestational age baby is considered to be borderline term. Your child should not have any major complications of prematurity. If you followed up with your doctor during pregnancy and had any problems with your health (no diseases, drug abuse, smoking, drinking) and had all screening tests normal, your baby should be fine.
