A member asked:

My child was born at 37 weeks gestation and had head circumference (hc) at birth of 13 inches, hc at one month was 14.25 in., at two months 16.14 in. and at four months 17 in. should i be concerned about possible hydrocephalus?

Your post cites measurements that show relative faster head circumference increase than usual, but lacks important data. What is the other parameters- weight & length, boy or girl? If all parameters have increased in unison it is less an issue. I would hope this is being followed by his doc, who can order a simple ultrasound through the soft spot if it is a concern.
