Diabetic 1, put on metformin 500mg twice a day, daonil 5mg once a day, is it proper or should i put on insulin?

Daibetic medications: In response to your question about the possible need for you to use insulin, i would suggest you ask an endocrinologist or the physician who placed your current medications. You can tell how good your glucose control (gc) by looking at your hb a1c. If it is under 7, your gc is fine. If not, you may need to be placed on basal-bolus Insulin therapy. Ask your doctor to tell you what to do.
