Evaluation: It is possible that the Pristiq (desvenlafaxine) is contributing to your symptoms. Certain conditions cause abnormally storng heart beat. The classic one is aortic regurgitation (leaking of the aortic valve) so you should have an echo. Excess thyroid hormone can also do it so you need blood work. Often a change in position will help -lying left side down usually make strong heartbeat worse so avoid this.
