Brain power: A balanced diet is the key. Should be rich in vegetables, and low in processed sugars. Eat fish one or twice week (watch for restrictions during pregnancy), fruits like blueberries or blackberries. Avoid alcohol. Eat to nourish yourself and not to indulge you. Maintain adequate weight or body mass index. I recommend supplements only when a vitamin deficiency is identified.
