A member asked:

If i eat food after 7pm, during my sleep i get "brain shocks" that jolt me awake around 3am-7am. pretty sure it deals with my stomach/brain. any ideas?

Your question is...: ...Incomplete with regard to your bedtime relative to meals, your normal awaking time, stressors (and your occupation) that may contribute to insomnia, identified food intolerances, co-morbid factors, your medication list (could an new drug be the culprit?), etc. At least your problem is easily avoided by minimizing how often you take your meals after 7.
