See below: A simple pelvic exam can not diagnose an infection. Your doctor would have to do a culture. If you are concerned see a doctor.

Tell your Provider: If you are concerned about an infection please tell your provider. We want you to tell us your concerns so that we can help you. If a provider does not know that you have a discharge or concern about infection, at 16, they might not look. So please tell them your symptoms , so they do the right exam that you need!
