Family practice : It sounds like you have a form of conjunctivitis. Allergic conjunctivitis eyes may be watery and itchy, viral may cause dry and burning, bacterial conjunctivitis usually causing redness and drainage. Eyes may be sticky and glued shut in the morning. Since you are not improving i recommend you see your dr for proper diagnosis.

Conjunctivitis: This needs eval by an ophthalmologist. It could be simple or the start of something more serious. Most primary docs are not equipped to do anything but a cursory exam.

See eye MD: You should see you eye md. Although this may be dry eyes, and more aggressive treatment might be indicated, there are numerous other possibilities with similar symptoms. Get the eyes evaluated.
