Usually with any type of conjunctivitis, including viral, allergic or bacterial, the eye would also be red. The only way to know what is wrong is for a doctor to look at it. You should call your doctor or do a video consult on HealthTap. An in-person eval may be necessary if it is difficult to see on video. Artificial tears may be helpful-1 drop 3-4x daily. If it doesn’t clear up, see your doctor.
