Allergies: You can try otc allergy medicine that is dose/age appropriate. This can be oral and eye drops. Avoid otc allergy nose spray because it can cause rebound nasal edema and polyps and actually make him worse. If the child does not have any problems then this should be safe short term. If it persists then you will have to see an md or do.
