Hx pulm embolism 18 mos ago. only symptom at time was shoulder pain. now having pain in same area but not nearly to same extent. can i wait to be seen?

Probably not: 18 months of Lovenox (enoxaparin) and Heparin ? Is the current pain still from pulmonary emboli? Is it something different? Get evaluated for emboli problem but also for other causes of the pain and the reason for throwing pulmonary emboli. The cause needs to found and corrected.

No: Pulmonary embolism is very serious problem and some could fatal, recurrent embolism is a possibility, my advise not to wait.
