A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rarely: PE's only rarely have pain to the touch. Common symptoms of PE are chest pain with breathing, shortness of breath, cough with occasional bloody phlegm, dizziness, calf pain and swelling. Some of the risk factors are hormones like birth control pills, recent surgery, smoking, pregnancy, cancer, and prolonged immobility. PE is a life threatening condition, seek immediate treatment if concerned.
