Relax: By itself, a single dose does not bother me. For many years it was given in great quantity as the preferred treatment for fever and most did well. From the mid 60's to the 80"s when it was implicated in reye syndrome, comfort with the med changed. I still use it for specific issues in kids, like kawasaki disease, and the dose is quite high. Informe gmthr that we don't use Aspirin under 16 any more.
