NO: There is no reason to stop the aspirin, and doing so could lead to dangerous complications. Sounds like your mom is elderly. Narcotic pain pills have much greater risk in the elderly. Please be very cautious and minimize their use.

No: The aspirin was probably prescribed for a reason and should not be stopped unless discussed with her physician. The medications do not adversely interact with each other when used together and do not have the same components.
