LH/FSH> 2 maybe PCO: Pcos = polycystic ovarian syndrome is really the name for a disruption in the way the ovary works such that the ovary tries to release an egg but just can't. The messengers from the brain (fsh and lh) go higher to try to get the egg released. If unsuccessful in doing so, infertility and no menses results. If you have regular menses, even though the lh and fsh are high, you likely dont have pcos.
