I am 49, have normal periods, and on 4th day of period my fsh hormone was 14 mui/ml. while my lh hormone was 16,5 mui/ml. is that perimenopause or is it possible that i have pcos? is it possible to get pcos after 40, i didn't have it before?

Your pituitary hormonal levels are not compatible with PCOS, more like pre-menopausal status although your period is still regular. If estradiol level is low or low normal, pre-menopausal state will be confirmed. Very soon I predict the period interval will be longer, no longer 28-30 days.
