Too much Hwy 65/50: Comes and goes is likely good. Suggests muscular or arthritic. Doubt much pressure on nerves from your info. Given this fact, i would expect sitting/driving to be worse. Try some core exercises like pilates/piyo/yoga. Use nsaids as needed, ice/heat, salonpas patches. If still an issue after a month or two, time to get medical opinion.

Several possible : Causes-could be a sign of a gastrointestinal problem or kidney issue. It is reasonable to see physician for evaluation based on the time period of symptoms as most back pains are self limiting. However, it could be a back problem as it is not there with rest which is typical of a primary back problem like a disc issue, not exercising, being overweight & smoking will but you at higher risk.
