My son has had a constant ear infection. been to the er twice and doctor twice. nothing has worked. how can i ease his pain? its very bad at night.

See ENT: Pt should probably see an ENT to determine if he needs ear tubes. 3 infections in a year is enough for criteria to consider tube placement. If your child is in daycare or around a lot of other children he has a higher risk for chronic infections.

Follow with his ped.: you should consistently follow with his pediatrician--not the ER unless it is an emergency because then there is consistency of care and follow up.if the pediatrician confirms recurrent ear infections you need to see an ENT
