Related problems: The low iron is likely from blood loss & poor intake, both common in alcoholic. Multivitamin w/iron and more dk greens can help this, but make gastritis worse. Alcoholic gastritis common & needs abstinence to heal. Proton pump inhibitor can help. See GI specialist for eval & mgmt. May need detox pgm if heavy drinker to start treatment if willing. If not, will worsen.
