Labs iron @ 28.0 marked low dr. never said anything had normal cbc in feb. he did start vit. d it was low same time iron was taken ppi for long time and had colonoscopy in past don't see any blood in stool. should i worry? or likely no issue?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, talk to your doctor about taking oral iron supplement. Wish you good health!
