Not good: First off, alcohol is a depressant so it makes it harder for the meds to work. Second Prozac (fluoxetine) can raise your blood alcohol levels as much as 50%. An occasional beer or glass of wine with dinner may be ok, but its best to avoid alcohol while contending with depression. And know that it may take much less alcohol than usual to fail a brethalyzer test while taking prozac, (fluoxetine) which stays in you 7-10 days.
