What is the risk for occasional alcohol use and taking wellbutrin 150mg/qd? i rarely drink, perhaps twice a month, but when i do i will probably have two glasses of wine per sitting, sharing half a bottle? no hx of seizures or significant s/e?

Real vs actual: Actually you should never use alcohol with antidepressants but an occasional drink, especially if this is an established habit, should be ok.

OCCASIONAL ETOH OK: If you drink as little and as infrequently as you claim then there should not be an issue. No more than 2 glasses in a day. The issue with excessive alcohol is that it acts as a depressant in your system so you would be at cross purposes if you have depression and take meds. Occasional is fine as long as you do not take sedating medications like any antianxiety meds or sleeping pills etc.
