Hard to answer: This kind of question makes doctors uncomfortable. The official recommendation is to avoid all alcohol. Yet many people have 1 drink and do ok. So it's not usually dangerous — but it could be. Alcohol plus wellbutrin (bupropion) can impair driving, prevent the med from working as well, could cause a seizure, etc. Weigh the risks and benefits: how important is safety and med effect to you?

This is like asking: " Is it ok to have a little bit of rat poison?" Per Drugs.Com Drug ineteraction Checker- “Using bupropion with alcohol may increase the risk of uncommon side effects such as seizures, hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, mood and behavioral changes, depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, and panic attacks.” There is moderate risk.
