Yes: Yes paid medications can treat toothaches. I would also recommend visiting your dentist to find out why you are having the pain. Usually treating the underlying cause of the pain is a better idea than covering the pain with medications.

Yes and No: Pain medicine can give relief from the pain of a tooth problem, but obviously they can't cure the problem. You need to find out what is causing the pain and get the tooth taken care of, or the pain will be back (and you could lose the tooth).
