Depends: How old is your son? Young children may get by the evening with some clove oil rubbed on the offending tooth and a dose of motrin. See your dentist asap the next day. If your child is older page your dentist for after hours care and if that is not possible then go to your local emergency room as most hospitals have a dentist or oral surgeon on call.
