Depends.: The pain may still be normal especially if you walk . There is a lot of pressure on our feet especially if we use ill-fitting shoes and also if we're overweight and are on our feet a lot. Soaking in warm water with epsom salt may help. If it persists, go back to your surgeon.

Surgery: Sometimes after surgery you splint off the site and don't put full pressure on it. That may be the case - but your best avenue is your surgeon who can look at the site , make sure all is well or help with a new / different problem. Good luck.
