Had foot surgery done and one of my incisions did not close all the way. doc did i&d and same outcome experience. could my hypothyroidism be a culprit?

Not thyroid: I wouldn't chalk it up to the thyroid disorder. Some wounds get infected and it just takes a long time to get them healed up. Be patient and follow all the wound care instructions. Good luck

No,but your: hypothyroidism should be corrected to normal TSH levels. The skin of the foot is under a lot of stress and can cause a dehisencance, espically if you were walking on it.
