Hi i have one leg that has pitted for a long while, i went to my doctor and had surgery to remove a vein from my groin to my foot this hasn't helped ?

Removing a major vein from the leg, will force the blood circulating through the leg and returning to the heart to return through fewer veins. This puts a load on the remaining veins which can lead to swelling unless steps are taken to forestall it. Typically gradient compression hose are prescribed.
