Possible side effect: Prilosec can cause abdominal bloating/gassy pain as well as headaches as a side effect. Sometimes just switching to a different medicine like Prevacid or Nexium (esomeprazole) can help since other meds may not give you the same side effects. You should stop the medicine for a few days to see if symptoms get better first, then check with your doctor.

Possibly TMJ: Sometimes things are coincidental . Sounds like clenching/ bruxism (night grinding). A dentist will help you sort it out.
